01: How does a self-guided tour via the SeeSaw Sight App work?
After purchasing online via our website, you will receive a confirmation message with all instructions and a uniquely generated booking code or team joining codes if there are more than 4 people, which is exclusively for you. The starting point of your tour will also be provided.
Simply click on the registration link included to sign up or log in and download the app. After that, you can start independently and flexibly at any time.
Please pay attention to the special note: if you’re starting with multiple teams in gaming mode, make sure to click the “Start” button only once you are actually at the real starting point, as the timer will begin from there.
Feel free to contact us anytime if you need assistance.
02: Does SeeSaw need access to my location when using the app?
No, we do not need your location data or access to your device’s location. There is no exchange of your real-time location. If you use the Google Maps helper function, your location will be displayed via Google Maps in the browser.
03: I can’t find a checkpoint?
If you’re unable to find a checkpoint, use the Google Maps link in our app, or contact us anytime. Otherwise, you can skip the checkpoint by simply clicking the “Found” button. Please be aware that instructions for the next checkpoint may come from the perspective of the skipped checkpoint.
04: What happens to my photos when I add them in the app?
Uploading photos is optional in the app for personal memories of your sightseeing experience with us. SeeSaw Sight only stores your images with your profile data. The images are only visible in your SeeSaw Sight account and to your teammates.
In gaming mode, one photo per checkpoint must be uploaded as proof.
05: Is there anything special to consider in Gaming Mode?
To maximize the adventure fun, you should only use the Google Maps link when absolutely necessary. Additionally, only use photos you’ve taken yourself on-site in the app.
We will also notice if the uploaded proof images do not match the checkpoints. 🙂
If you’d like, we can publish your results on the leaderboard, but only with your consent.
06: Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can permanently delete your customer account and all your data from SeeSaw at any time. To do this, log into your customer account on the SeeSaw website, and under your profile, you’ll find the menu item “Delete my Account.”

No. SeeSaw Sight does not need any location data from you or your device. There is no real time exchange of your location. If you choose to use the Google Maps helper function your location is displayed through Google Maps in the browser. |
Firstly, uploading photos of yourself is optional and adds to the fun of your experience. In gaming mode we do expect you to load 1 photo per checkpoint by way of proof you were there. SeeSaw Sight stores your images with your profile data. The images are not obtainable by any third party. Only your SeeSaw Sight account and any of your team mates have access to the images. |
Yes, you can irrevocably delete your SeeSaw customer account and all your data at any time. To do this, you must log into your customer account on the SeeSaw website and under Profile you will find the menu item “Delete my account”. |
If you are unable to find a checkpoint even after seeking help from the Google maps link we have not described it properly. Please give us this feedback. Skipping checkpoints is allowed. |
You can skip a checkpoint simply by clicking on the “we are here” button. Be aware that the next checkpoint instructions may be from the perspective of the skipped checkpoint. |
There are no real rules but to maximize your own adventure fun try not use the Google Maps link for help unless you really need to. Should you need the mapping help we would love that feedback as we would like to be able to describe the checkpoint better in that case. Our description often include distance and orientation so it would be a good idea to know your NSEW directions 🙂 |
In the city there are a number of bike or scooter hiring vendors. Download the app and get one. |
